Through their leadership and strong strategic vision, Messrs. Bailey and Jerome have established an illustrious track record of successful business ventures. Over the last 2 decades, they have made a significant mark as entrepreneurs, creating a strong portfolio of balanced investments. Through BUSAC as well as affiliates of JEMB Realty Group, Mr. Bailey and Mr. Jerome have emerged as major players in the commercial real estate market in both Canada and the United States. They have built a solid reputation as “hands on” sponsors who understand value enhancement through the development and repositioning of real estate assets. Over the years, they have built successful partnerships with many notable financial institutions. Morris Bailey has also effectively expanded into the online gaming, financing, and telecommunications sectors, through strategic investment in Resorts Digital Gaming, Basis Investment Group and Xentris Wireless.

Since his arrival as President of BUSAC Real Estate in 2001, Michel Couillard has led the company to the highest levels of the real estate industry through the active management of the firm’s assets and strategic investments. Be it via the acquisition, repositioning and restructuring of assets, property development, construction projects or real estate financing, he has demonstrated solid leadership and the continued fostering of strategic relationships with leading partners. Michel Couillard is responsible for overall investments, development strategies, as well as the management and growth of BUSAC’s real estate portfolio. As such, he oversees all business activities in Canada, in addition to participating in the management of assets, plus numerous acquisition and development projects in the United States. In 1997, Michel Couillard was invited into membership in the highly prestigious professional organization The Counselors of Real Estate (CRE). In 2007, Mr. Couillard became a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) and served as Global Chair of The Counselors of Real Estate in 2020 and 2021.

As Executive Vice-President, Operations and Chief Financial Officer Pina Pulitano participates in the development of comprehensive strategies for BUSAC Real Estate in Canada and JEMB Realty Corporation in the United States. She also acts as a consultant on their strategic orientations. Ms. Pulitano supervises and coordinates all financial activities for BUSAC and JEMB while ensuring the development of their respective financial and fiscal strategies. Moreover, she oversees matters related to transactions of acquisition, disposition and development of all BUSAC and JEMB financing and investment projects. Ms. Pulitano monitors and analyzes the financial performance of buildings in Canada and the United States. In Canada, Pina Pulitano also acts as an advisor for due diligence matters and supervises all activities relating to operational, legal, construction and project management services.
